My spouse and I attempted to change our travel plans to Corfu from 11-25 August with the family. We chose to transfer our booking due to feeling vulnerable about the trip. We were assured there wouldn't be a charge for the transfer, according to the new terms introduced after June [redacted]. We managed to change the flights to Bergerac for a later date in September at first without any additional fees for seats or bags. However, we were surprised to find a £[redacted] charge added, contrary to what was initially indicated. Despite seeking clarification through customer service, we received mixed responses about the extra charges for luggage and fare differences between the two bookings. We opted for flexibility with our initial Corfu booking but found inconsistencies in the transfer process costs. Our new reference is CY9EKD for Graham and Susan C.

Last week, I flew from Thessaloniki to Frankfurt Hahn with my two children and my 70-year-old mother on 27.7. When checking in, I was asked for negative COVID test results for my children. The doctor had performed a Rapid test the day before, which was noted as negative. However, the check-in agent insisted that the word "Antigen test" needed to be on the document. Despite the language barrier, we managed to resolve the issue by getting a new test at a nearby hospital, costing us an additional 60 Euros. It was stressful, and we almost missed our flight. I later learned that other passengers faced similar challenges due to missing information on their test results. It is confusing as there are only two types of COVID tests - PCR or Antigen Rapid Test. The situation raised frustrations as the test clearly showed a negative result, yet we still encountered difficulties. I hope for clarity on why Ryanair enforces such strict measures in these cases. - Eleni Carretero

We had to pay 55€ each for in-person check-in, causing a 15-minute delay. This resulted in us being at the gate 13 minutes before our flight instead of 28. Despite passengers still boarding, we were not permitted on the plane. Ryanair did not disclose the cost of in-person check-in, making it illegal to charge us. This surprise charge led to us missing our flight. We are two students depending on the money, so we are requesting a refund for the flight payment. I was scammed by Ryanair for insurance that never seemed to come through. I pre-paid for food on the plane, but it never arrived, leaving me starving. I was promised a refund in three days, but when I tried to contact the insurance company on the second day, I encountered more issues. I was attacked at the hotel and had to transfer twice, waiting five days for the first hotel refund. I had to call England for help booking another hotel since I couldn't afford it. This insurance felt nonexistent, and the whole experience was distressing and appalling. It ruined our holiday, leaving us stranded with no money for food after paying for a replacement hotel. The Ibis Hotel eventually refunded us after five days and they were apologetic, recognizing the difficulties we faced. This situation was extremely traumatic, especially considering my existing stress, anxiety, and PTSD. It's unacceptable to take people's money and not provide the promised assistance.

My daughter in the U.K. tested positive for COVID-19 and was advised to self-isolate until 2nd August [redacted] by the N.H.S. She is scheduled to fly back to Dublin on Ryanair on 11th August. Since she's not a British citizen, the N.H.S. couldn't issue her a COVID travel certificate tied to a medical record number. She received an email from the N.H.S. detailing her name, date of birth, symptom onset (21/07/21), test date, and end of quarantine date. She plans to take a PCR test soon, but was informed it could still show positive within 3 months post-recovery. Any guidance on her travel situation would be much appreciated. Thank you. - Derval B.

I have made reservations for a group trip from Barcelona to Marrakesh on October 7 and from Fez to Madrid on October 19. Regrettably, I accidentally double booked the Fez to Madrid flight for our group. I have already secured the Barcelona flights to show my commitment. I realize the mistake and would like to cancel one of the double-booked flights for the Fez to Madrid route. The reservations for the Fez to Madrid flights are under the codes S65T2C and I4G49F. Kindly refund the amount to my card for one of these bookings. I sincerely appreciate your help with this matter. Thank you, Rick M.

I was scheduled to fly from EMA to AGP on FR4458 on Friday, 9/4/21, returning on FR4469 on Monday, 12/4/[redacted]. I received an email from Ryanair on 9th February notifying me of a schedule change (CC6MKR) and offering the option to cancel and apply for a refund, which I did. However, I have not heard anything from Ryanair regarding my refund since then, unlike others in my group who have already received theirs. These flights were rescheduled due to Covid from April [redacted], for which I paid an additional fee to change. My updated email on file with Ryanair is [redacted] I kindly request for my complaint to be addressed and resolved. Sincerely, Pete Lawley.

I booked two one-way tickets from Prague to London Heathrow for the morning of August 24 to catch a connecting flight to Philadelphia. British Airways canceled my flight, so I need to get alternative arrangements. I plan to take a RyanAir flight on the 23rd to another London airport, but I have been struggling to reach RyanAir's booking agents in Prague or elsewhere. How can I secure these reservations for the 23rd?

I need help with my reservations B6SNJM and OB4U7Q. When booking tickets on the site "Go to Gate," there was an error in the date of birth for the passenger, Chernyk Sofiia. She is currently 14 years old, not 15 years old. Our flight is scheduled for August 10, [redacted], at 20:20 from Boryspil to Athens. Please update the date of birth to May 9, [redacted], so we can proceed with the registration process. Thank you.

I mistakenly booked the same flight twice and I need to cancel one of them. Initially, I didn't confirm the first booking because I didn't have my passport. However, a few days later, I booked the same flight, which was successfully confirmed. Unfortunately, both bookings resulted in charges to my account. I would like to keep flight [redacted] and cancel and receive a refund for flight IE494U. I am finding it difficult to reach a Ryanair representative for assistance. Your prompt help in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I made a first booking for my partner and myself from August 12 to August 16, a round trip to Porto on Ryanair. Originally, I only booked two round trips because my ex-husband was supposed to take my children on vacation with him. However, he has now decided not to. Therefore, I had to purchase two additional tickets for them to join us, but there were no available seats on the same flight. Consequently, I booked another 4 round trips for my partner, my children, and myself on Ryanair. I initially thought I could cancel the first booking, but it seems that's not possible. Would it be feasible to make an exception and refund me for the first 2 bookings? I now find myself with these two reservations that we won't use, incurring additional costs during these challenging times. Thank you for your understanding. Reservation number from the airline: C5SRMP, under the names De Carvalho M-J and Maranges E.Y.P.

I am planning to book a flight from Nis, Serbia to Corfu Town, Greece in late September. I am concerned about potential border closures due to the uncertain situation surrounding the pandemic. Both countries are currently open for travel, but with the media speculating about a possible second wave of Covid, I want to know my rights regarding refunds if borders close. I have seen RyanAir's Zero Fee Policy allowing two free flight changes before December 31st, but I am unsure about what would happen if I am unable to travel next year due to a lockdown in Serbia or Greece. Can you please reach out to RyanAir to clarify this for me? Thank you for your assistance.

I made flight bookings for Belfast to Naples for myself and my partner, departing on 29/07/21, but due to Covid restrictions requiring a longer quarantine than our trip duration, we needed to change or cancel the flights. The customer service channels were unhelpful. Additionally, I have flights booked for Belfast to Barcelona on 19/08/21 for myself, my partner and her daughter. Unfortunately, we cannot make this trip due to personal reasons, including caring for a family member with Alzheimer's. I am requesting a refund, whether monetary or in vouchers, for these flights. This situation has been disappointing, and a refund would be greatly appreciated for future travel opportunities. Looking forward to your prompt assistance. Sincerely, T.M.

After spending 4 hours on hold, I finally reached the helpline at 7 p.m. yesterday. I have been attempting to obtain 2 no-show letters for my flights from Bergamo due to COVID for months online. Unfortunately, the booking number I provided for the 26th of December does not seem to be working correctly despite being accurate. The agent assured me that one no-show letter for the 16th of January [redacted] would be sent, and the other would be requested from head office. However, I have yet to receive anything. I have been dealing with insurance since February, and their service has been very poor. Despite sending all necessary documents multiple times, they continue to request more information and provide conflicting instructions. This situation has been stressful, as they keep changing their requirements, asking for everything in single files with dated documents including hospital records, COVID tests, and claim forms.

We reside in Tenerife and had previously made a booking to fly to Manchester on the 2nd of September with the booking reference DBICJK, planning to return on the 11th of September. Our purpose for this trip was to attend my brother's memorial service, who passed away a year ago in April. Due to Covid restrictions, we missed his funeral. Our flights have been rescheduled twice. Unfortunately, my husband has been diagnosed with fluid on the brain and was advised by his doctor not to fly until this is resolved. Given the uncertainties around his health, we cannot postpone the flights indefinitely. Flying alone is not an option as I cannot leave my husband unattended. We are seeking guidance on obtaining a refund from Ryanair, and we are contemplating if a letter from his doctor would be necessary. As we are both 74 years old, time is of the essence, but contacting Ryanair has been challenging.

Dear All, I am a traveler from Greece going from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport to Lisbon, Portugal on 23/08/[redacted] with a layover in Warsaw (Flight no: FR9021 and FR2263). I have been fully vaccinated on 09/08/[redacted] and possess an EU Digital Covid certificate. However, the vaccination date is exactly 14 days before my trip, and the instructions mention "at least 14 days" must have passed. I am unsure if I need a negative test to travel. I have reached out to the national healthcare organization of Greece and the Athens airport, and they advised me to check with the airline. I would appreciate clarification to avoid costly COVID testing. Thank you, K. Megalios

Ryanair rescheduled my return flight from Valencia to the 19th of September for operational reasons, rendering my outbound flight purposeless. I noticed there is only one flight back to Belfast from Valencia on the 12th of September, whereas my initial departure was scheduled for the 9th. I have commitments in the second week, including assisting my mum after we lost my dad to cancer and attending solicitor appointments. Surprisingly, there don't seem to be any other flights back to Valencia available in October or November. I've been on hold for 31 minutes now, attempting to secure refunds for both flights.

I am reaching out to Ryanair customer support about our recent travel experience from Luton airport to Girona, Spain. We encountered difficulties trying to check in online for our family of 3, including myself and my daughter, Dalia R. Despite our early arrival at the airport, we faced issues with the online check-in and were eventually forced to pay an additional £[redacted] at the airport to board the flight. After a frustrating experience with customer service at the airport and over the phone, we are concerned about a similar situation on our return flight on 1/09/21. We are seeking clarification on why we faced these check-in problems and hope for a resolution to prevent a recurrence. I wanted to provide my payment receipt for record purposes, but encountered technical difficulties with the system. Our Airline Reference is DCCYSN. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I await your response. Sincerely, Aicha R.
