Two unauthorized orders appeared on my account: Order #[redacted]33 for $51.84 and Order #[redacted]19 for $[redacted].98. I did not place either of these orders and suspect a system error. I tried contacting the seller to no avail. My credit card was charged, and I urgently request a refund for these charges. If the items are delivered, I will mark them "return to sender/did not order." It's frustrating that I only noticed the charges on my card statement. Additionally, I made a purchase from another seller on July 17th, transaction #[redacted]81 for $68.59. It hasn't shipped as of July 21st, and I've had no response from the seller. I'm unsure of what steps to take next.

I have been successfully posting items, but unfortunately, I am not receiving any inquiries, messages, or views on them. Despite trying various suggestions, my items seem difficult to find when searched for. Additionally, I am encountering an error when attempting to contact OfferUp's "help center." The error message reads "Unexpected token < in JSON." This issue is concerning as it is affecting my sales and causing financial loss. I am seeking assistance from OfferUp to address this problem. I have exhausted the options provided in the "quick fixes to common issues" section and would appreciate alternative solutions. I wasn't aware of the provided shipping label in the app and only noticed it after I had already shipped the item. I sold it for less than its value since I urgently needed the money for rent. I have several years of experience selling items online through various platforms such as eBay, Amazon, and Craigslist. Recently, I encountered a concerning situation with a buyer who has not returned to pick up the remaining parts of an item he purchased. The buyer paid cash for a $[redacted] certified gold coin and indicated he would come back with his truck to collect the rest. However, it has been several days, and despite my attempts to contact him through the app, there has been no response. This is causing an issue for me as I need the item removed from my garage promptly due to the sale of my house. I am eager for the buyer to get in touch and arrange to collect the punching bag stand he has already paid for.

I have been using this account for over 6 months, connecting with friends and making purchases. It plays a significant role in my life. However, not all interactions are positive. I have been offered a mini Winnebago Motorhome for $1,[redacted] by a person claiming to be Katrina. She instructed me to pay $[redacted] per onevanilla card without registration. She mentioned that OfferUp will secure the funds for 5 days after the payment is made to ensure my satisfaction with the motorhome. Can anyone confirm if OfferUp truly holds the money until the product delivery? Also, does OfferUp indeed accept onevanilla gift cards, which she insists should not be registered online? I have received an invoice with the details mentioning my name as Donald Baker and an Invoice ID: VPP-1[redacted]-[redacted] dated August 6, [redacted].

I am seeking a refund for a Peloton bike I purchased but never received. The payment was made through Cash App to Melissa Aleman with the Cash App tag $Melissasbag. The email provided was [redacted], using the name Stacy Canny. Despite initial payment discussions through Zelle, it didn't work, leading to a switch to Cash App. The payment was for a Peloton Bike Generation 3 for $[redacted] with shipping initially listed at $14, then claimed $89, totaling $[redacted]. Subsequently, the seller stated shipping was $[redacted], and I offered to split or cover the cost but received no response. I urge you to address and prevent this fraudulent behavior. The seller deleted the listing and our communication on your platform, saying it was "sold." I hope you can track this on your network server and refund the money. I dropped off a package at the Post Office located at 35 Patterson Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA [redacted] at 3:10 p.m. The postal worker did not immediately scan my package due to other customers ahead of me, but assured me it would be scanned later. I want to ensure my package is not marked as unsent if it wasn't scanned promptly. I have contacted support through Email and Facebook regarding this issue. The package containing shoes was dropped off on the 19th, but now the sale shows as canceled. The shoes are at the Post Office, and I am concerned about the customer receiving the shoes without me receiving payment. It's possible the postal worker simply forgot to scan my package as there were others to attend to before mine.

Hello, I am looking to understand the current status of my account. More than a year ago, my account was deactivated due to some actions I took, but I am unsure of the specific reason. Although I could log in and post items for sale, they were not visible to others, leading me to suspect a "shadow ban." Despite believing I was banned, I sporadically checked my account. I had been a reputable seller on LetGo before it merged with OfferUp. Recently, I managed to post two items on OfferUp, receiving unexpected views. However, I encountered issues when trying to message other sellers. I have been ghost banned since just before the 4th of July. A woman attempted to scam me, but ended up contacting the police and reaching out to Offerup. Despite my efforts to report her as a scammer, she still appears active on the site. I feel it's disrespectful for Offerup to only respond to my 1-star review by asking me to email another address for assistance, with no follow-up. This lack of customer service is disappointing. I have used Offerup for a long time, but now feel ignored and pushed aside like others who have been ghost banned. I want to regain access to my account ([redacted]) since early July, yet Offerup has not responded. It's frustrating to receive their spam emails when I can't even use the app.

I contacted a seller on OfferUp named “Hit Me Up At eight zero five two four two nine six four zero" regarding a video card. The buyer insisted on using Zelle for payment, citing they don't accept OfferUp transactions. I sent the agreed $[redacted] through Zelle, and the seller assured the item would be shipped promptly. It's been four days, the item hasn't been shipped, and now the seller is asking for an extra $[redacted]. OfferUp referred me to the police, prompting me to file a fraud claim with my bank. I hope OfferUp can assist by using my bank's fraud claim case number to address this matter. Despite ongoing communication with the seller pressuring for more money, I have sought advice from the police, who directed me back to my bank.

I am unable to access my account even though I have my email and password. I recently got a new phone and number, which I find frustrating. This should not be such a difficult issue. I believe this feature of requiring a phone number should be eliminated as people change numbers frequently or lose their phones. This same problem caused me to lose my previous account, prompting me to create a new one. I urgently need assistance to regain access to my account. Kindly provide instructions on how to access my account without the need for a phone number. It would greatly help if this issue could be resolved to prevent more inconvenience for customers.

They have requested us to make payments in three separate Apple cards, each equaling a portion of the total amount. I sent a vintage jewelry box to a lady, but she didn't receive it. I tracked the package and it showed a delivery attempt was made, but she claims her porch was a safe place and she received no notice. Upon verification, I realized the address was incorrect, although the state and name were right. The package has returned to the San Antonio Post Office now. I'm unsure how to proceed. Hello, I'm Seth K. I recently sent a dslr camera through OfferUp using their provided label, which arrived on time. I received a notification about a 2-day extension but wasn't sure why, possibly awaiting buyer confirmation. After contacting the buyer for payment, they claimed they needed 3 days to inspect it, though it seemed a quick check was enough. Days passed with no payment, and the buyer accused me of sending a faulty item, which I deny as I tested it before shipment. The buyer now refuses payment, leaving me without the camera and money owed. I have tried unsuccessfully to make offers to 5 individuals. One person I've purchased from in the past always responds promptly, but no one has replied this time. It has been several days to a week now. When attempting to send money, I keep receiving an error message "something went wrong." I've tried troubleshooting such as restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, and changing my password, but nothing has helped. There has also been a lack of inquiries on items I'm trying to sell for a few months now. When contacting the help center, I encountered an error message saying "unexpected token < in JSON at position 0." I need immediate assistance with this issue as messages show as delivered with one check mark, but it doesn't indicate if they've been viewed, despite the recipient being active recently. I am very frustrated and eager for a solution. Thank you.

I listed an item on OfferUp, and a buyer placed a bid. After accepting the bid and shipping the item promptly, the buyer received it and expressed gratitude last week. The transaction was successful, and the buyer paid for the item. However, three days ago, I received a notice stating that the sale would be cancelled if I did not send the item. Initially, I believed it was an error. Yet, yesterday, both the buyer and I received notifications that the payment was cancelled for the second time. I am unsure why this issue has arisen and would appreciate any insights or assistance.

I sold two items through my "Offer Up" account on 08/28/[redacted]: a SRO mini red dot sight and a 3X magnifier. Javier bought both items, and I shipped them using the Offer Up prepaid postage stamp on the evening of 09/02/[redacted]. However, on the morning of 09/03/[redacted], I received a message saying I missed the shipping deadline and the sale was canceled. I'm confused about whether the buyer got the items for free since he was refunded, and I had already shipped them via USPS drop box. Where are my items or the sale funds? This is not the buyer's fault; he followed the process correctly. I haven't received payment for the sold items or had them returned. I expect a professional and prompt resolution from Offer Up. I hope the company values integrity and respects its members rather than just being a digital intermediary taking a cut from transactions.

I purchased what was advertised as "Good as new under 90 days old, all guaranteed to swap or receive your money back." The seller, along with his partner, frequently posts ads for new Samsung washer and dryer sets. Unfortunately, I was sold three products that do not function properly. Despite my attempts to meet with him multiple times, he never showed up. He has not responded to texts or voicemails. His behavior has been impolite and disrespectful. I have spent a significant amount of money, totaling over $[redacted], trying to resolve this issue. I am seeking a refund or a replacement with working products. This individual goes by various names such as Will, William, Willy, or Judy, consistently using the same ad claiming the items are in excellent condition for $[redacted].
