Hello, I'm experiencing a significant problem with my account. I signed up for a free one-month trial of the premium account, intending to cancel before the second month. However, I was charged [redacted] LE unexpectedly, which led me to believe my account had been hacked. After contacting my bank and discovering the charge was from LinkedIn, I was surprised as I never received any notification about it. The amount charged is beyond what I budgeted for, so I kindly request a refund. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you,

I am an intern at a hospital, and currently, there is an active LinkedIn page created by a former employee. The employee no longer works at the hospital, and I am interested in finding out if it is possible to have the page taken down to start a new one for the company. I have created a LinkedIn account for my manager to initiate a new page; however, I discovered that we are unable to do so due to the existing page. I am reaching out on my personal LinkedIn account to seek advice on how to proceed. We are uncertain whether the previous employee will grant admin access to my manager, so we are exploring the option of having the existing page deleted.

I am having trouble accessing my LinkedIn account as I cannot recall my password. Despite multiple attempts to reset it, I am experiencing delays in receiving the verification code. By the time I receive it, it has expired. Additionally, I no longer remember the phone number associated with the account from over 15 years ago. I am unable to create a new account due to the email address already being in use, and I am worried about losing my existing contacts.

I have encountered an issue with my LinkedIn account. Initially, I logged in using my phone number and had my email linked to it. Today, when I attempted to change my password through the mobile app, the process seemed successful. However, upon reopening the app, I discovered that my account had been replaced by one belonging to my sister, named Manvi Sharma. I suspect I may have inadvertently created an account under her name using my email. After deactivating the Manvi Sharma account in hopes of restoring mine, I received an email confirming the deactivation with a reactivation option. Unfortunately, upon reactivation, the Manvi Sharma account was restored, and I am currently unable to locate my original Himanshi Sharma account. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have a LinkedIn account under the name Himanshi Sharma. I typically logged in using my phone number and had my email linked to it. Today, when I tried to change my password through the app, I received a code on my email for a password reset. After changing my password, I was informed that it was successfully updated. However, upon reopening the app, my account was replaced by one under the name Manvi Sharma, which might have been inadvertently created using my email. I can no longer locate my original account. The emails I received also shifted from being addressed to Himanshi to Manvi after the password change. I attempted to reactivate Himanshi account by deactivating Manvi's account, but now only the latter account is accessible. I urgently need assistance in resolving this issue.

Hello, I am Jigar Acharya, a freelance human resource professional since [redacted]. I have a rich history in HR freelancing, coupled with experience in full-time HR roles out of my sheer passion for recruitment. My journey on LinkedIn started with a focus on recruitment and networking. Operating under the name "The Human resource's Freelancer," I managed job postings for clients and scouted profiles within the platform. Recently, in a bid to source a job for myself, I updated my profile with my real name, leading to account lockout by LinkedIn citing a violation of their policies. I acknowledge the naming discrepancy but intended to signal my job search to my network, rooted in trust within this community. I am willing to switch back to my former account name and have already provided my personal identification documents. I implore your assistance in resolving this matter promptly, as LinkedIn holds immense professional value in my field.

I am a professional looking to start my own startup in Spain. A recruiter contacted me about a job opportunity, and I expressed my interest in being a freelancer. After discussing the requirements with the recruiter, I was informed that there was no age restriction. I requested to speak with the Team Leader for further steps. However, I was later informed that the Team Leader found my age, 48, to be too much. I asked to be contacted via email by the Team Leader, but instead, I received a call from someone who proceeded to bully me over the phone, blaming me for not meeting the requirements. This individual claimed I had applied through a website using my LinkedIn profile information. Feeling threatened and verbally abused, I reported the LinkedIn page and requested chat transcripts from the recruiter to file a report with the Spanish Law Inspection services. As a foreign athlete, I have never experienced such behavior and find it unacceptable. I seek advice on how to handle this situation without negatively impacting my professional reputation. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Argyris I.

Hello, this is the second time in the past few months that my account has been unexpectedly restricted. I have mostly used the site to congratulate individuals on work anniversaries and connect with a few new contacts. I am eager to understand the reason behind this recent restriction, as I have not received any prior notifications about violating any Terms of Service. I would appreciate a prompt explanation of the exact issue that led to my account being restricted so we can address it together. Your swift response is highly anticipated as I am disappointed by the lack of prior notification about any alleged violation. Thank you, D. Majewski

I have attempted multiple times to have my account removed from LinkedIn without success. Despite unsubscribing, speaking to a live representative, and providing proof via email, LinkedIn continues to charge me $65 monthly. This is a significant amount for me as I live well below the poverty line, relying on disability benefits, especially during the challenges of COVID-19. I cannot afford this expense and request refunds for the past three months, totaling to [$[redacted]]. I have not found any value in LinkedIn's services and have no intention of using their platform again. This situation is causing me great distress and financial hardship. My bank is currently investigating this matter, but I urge LinkedIn to address this immediately out of consideration for my circumstances.

My name is Ajay S. I've had a LinkedIn account since [redacted], but it was recently restricted by the platform. I work in India for US clients and also go by the nickname Jimmy. I encountered login issues a week ago, and LinkedIn requested identity verification. After providing my passport details, I was informed that my account was permanently closed due to my name not matching the identification I submitted, as my account is under Jimmy while my documents show Ajay Shukla. I had over [redacted] connections on that account. Is there a way to move these connections to my new active account?

I recently noticed that when I search for my company using the keyword "bitraser linkedin" on Google, the page URL that shows up starts with bd.linkedin.com, which is for Bangladesh. However, we are an Indian company and our correct URL is in.linkedin.com. Our company name is BitRaser, and I would like the Google result URL to reflect this by showing in.linkedin.com/company/bitraser, not bd.linkedin.com/company/bitraser. It's important that our association is with India and not Bangladesh in the search results. Thank you for your assistance.

When I search for our company BitRaser on Google using the keyword "bitraser linkedin," the results show a page URL that starts with bd.linkedin.com, indicating Bangladesh. However, since we are based in India, I would like the URL to reflect this by starting with in.linkedin.com. Our company's LinkedIn profile is currently being redirected to the India URL, which is correct. The specific URL I am hoping for is in.linkedin.com/company/bitraser to represent our Indian location accurately.

Dear LinkedIn Team, I recently encountered an issue on the website where I couldn't add any emails, resulting in my account being email-less and inaccessible. After reaching out to the LinkedIn support team, they mentioned that I had two accounts with the same email and merged them. Unfortunately, my account was still restricted. I tried to verify using my passport, but as my legal name differs from my preferred name on LinkedIn, my verification was rejected repeatedly. Frustrated, I created a new account to move on; however, soon after, the new account was restricted again due to the same verification issue. This ongoing problem has lasted for two weeks, hindering my ability to apply for job opportunities. I am seeking assistance to resolve this promptly. Regards, Karina
