I purchased a hairdressing voucher for Jackie and Co. in Hammersmith. Unfortunately, they declined to provide the service to me, claiming my hair was too long and insisting on an additional £40 charge beyond what I had already paid. This seemed deceptive since the terms only mentioned a £10 charge for long hair. In the past, when using Groupon for hair vouchers, this extra fee was never an issue as salons typically just trimmed the hair to the required length. The experience felt like an attempt to upsell services. The owner, Adma, mentioned he would verify the refusal if contacted. I believe this situation warrants the removal of Karen's services from Groupon due to false advertising concerns. My appointment with Karen involved a significant wait time despite having a scheduled slot. Additionally, I was surprised by the additional fees she attempted to add onto the Groupon price. Karen's policy of charging more for "long hair" - which she defined as past the collarbone - and insisting on extra charges for partial highlights and toner left me dissatisfied. When I declined the extra services to avoid the additional $35 fee for toner, Karen refused to proceed with just the haircut. This experience has left me feeling disappointed, especially considering my past positive experiences with Groupon. I was charged 6 times for a Fitbit order. This final sales order mistake is frustrating. I was promised a refund for the warranty charges, but no further resolution. I seek a higher authority to address this issue. I plan to contact an attorney, BBB, and share this experience on social media unless resolved satisfactorily. After buying multiple car wash vouchers, I went for my first wash and was advised by the manager to contact Groupon for a refund. He explained that my car required a detailing, not just a regular wash, as he couldn't achieve the level of cleanliness needed with the vouchers. My friend and I bought GroupOn vouchers for facials at a local establishment. We tried reaching out to the Salon via phone, email, and text messaging but didn't receive any responses. After sending another text to inquire about making appointments, the owner responded abruptly, suggesting times that didn't work for me. When I mentioned my unavailability, I asked about other dates, only to receive no response for a few days. The owner later claimed I missed an appointment that was never scheduled. Furthermore, she suggested staggering our appointments 30 minutes apart for a 60 minute facial, displaying a lack of understanding of the service purchased. I purchased the Jan Marini skincare management system. I was under the impression that the products would be full-sized given the price and the lack of "starter kit" mentioned in the product description. I bought the Jan Marini skincare management system assuming I would receive full-sized products for the price since the description didn't mention it was a starter kit. On Jan Marini's website, the full-size system costs $[redacted], but the product here was originally $[redacted] and discounted to $[redacted] on Groupon without clarifying it was a starter kit which normally costs $[redacted]. This lack of disclosure is misleading. I am disappointed and seeking a refund, as this isn't my first request for it. Hello, I wanted to share my disappointment with the service I recently experienced. I had bought a Groupon voucher for a two-course meal at Frankie and Bennys for my parents as a gift. The voucher cost £18.99 and had a code FB14JHZ7 with an expiry date of 31.01.[redacted]. When my parents visited the Frankie and Bennys in Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh, the waitress initially approved the voucher but later found it invalid when trying to scan it. This caused embarrassment and distress as they didn't have extra money to cover the meal. They had to provide their details for a phone payment, which was unexpected and a financial strain. This morning, I received a 50% off promo code, JAN50, advertised as the last day to use. I attempted to apply the discount when purchasing a 90-Minute Swedish Massage for $57.00 on Groupon under number VS-6FJT-CR5K-VSHP-HSSW, charged to my AX Platinum card ending in [redacted]. However, the code did not work, and I was charged the full amount. I kindly request the 50% off discount as promised with the code or for the Groupon order to be cancelled. Order number [redacted], which was purchased for $[redacted] in December, is set to expire on March 21. Despite calling to schedule an appointment on January 8, I was only contacted back on January 17 stating the earliest availability is on March 20, 21, and 22, with the next available dates being April 25-27. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I cannot make it on March 20th and 21st. I am now unable to trade in the voucher as I mistakenly tried to redeem it. I am requesting a refund as the "limited availability" mentioned in the fine print did not align with only having two feasible days to redeem.

I tried to purchase one pack of Fujifilm Instax film, but the screen switched quickly, and I accidentally bought 4 packs. I only needed one. Regarding the Casino cruise ticket, I intended to buy a ticket for two but mistakenly ended up with three tickets. I have no use for the extra ticket. I was in communication with someone and got prompted to pay a $1 arbitration fee, but I encountered computer issues and couldn't complete the payment.

I purchased a Groupon for lash extensions on Sunday night (January 19) using a guest account. Despite entering my username and password correctly, the app wouldn't let me log in. I usually receive a confirmation email with the voucher shortly after making a purchase, but I haven't received anything after several days. I checked all my email folders but found nothing. The transaction initially appeared as pending on my credit card statement but then disappeared. I purchased a massage voucher for Herma Beauty Clinic in Burwood. Despite attempting to book over 10 times in the past 3 months, I was informed each time that they were fully booked. The manager explained they only have 2 therapists who are always busy, so no slots were available even after my voucher expired 3 days ago. They mentioned that Groupon would refund me. A few months back, I bought two Groupon vouchers for gel nails at Xclusive Alstylez Salon for $19 each. Due to family health issues and the holidays, I couldn't use them earlier. We scheduled an appointment for this Monday, but the vendor informed me that she doesn't accept Groupon coupons anymore and had already informed Groupon about it a while ago. My wife accidentally purchased the same part for 20 people for our daughter's birthday not knowing about my surprise purchase. We are looking to get a refund for the 4 pack. I purchased a Groupon deal for Skin By Stacey but encountered several issues with booking weekend appointments. After being directed to use online booking on Oct 3rd, I received a response from Stacey on Nov 14th offering to schedule on Saturday instead of Sunday as requested, but she later canceled due to her son being sick. Despite trying to reschedule for Nov 27th and being unresponsive, I have been unable to use the service due to illness since Dec 6th. I purchased a gift voucher for my husband's birthday for a 60-minute full-body massage with hot stones at Cedar Massage in Lithia Springs, Georgia. I hadn't noticed an expiration date when buying it, or I wouldn't have chosen it for him. Today seems to be the last day to use it, but he has been unable to go due to the unexpected passing of his father (my father-in-law). On top of that, we've been taking care of his elderly grandmother with severe dementia, and after moving her into a nursing home, my husband caught the flu and has been sick for about a month now. Typically, gift cards have a longer validity period, and if I had known about the limited time frame, I wouldn't have bought it. I'm hoping to request an extension of the expiration date so he can enjoy his birthday gift.
